Movie review about "The Wizard of Oz"

                                 A movie review-"The Wizard of Oz"

  The movie called "The wizard of Oz" is a classic fiction movie written by Victor Fleming. This movie came out in 1939 and it was one of the most famous classic movie in the world in a American company called the "Golden Mayor". This book takes place about this girl named Dorothy when she gets stuck in this wonderful land by a tornado. She starts her journey to find the Wizard of Oz to return home as she follows the yellow brick road.

  In the beginning of the movie in "The Wizard of Oz," Dorothy gets no love and her aunt tries to steal Toto which Dorothy doesn't want to happen. Suddenly a storm comes and takes her away to this magical land called the Witch Land. She meets two witches named Glinds(the good witch of the South) and the Witch of the West that was a villain. Dorothy feels home sick and she wanted to return home, so she followed the yellow brick road to ask the Wizard of Oz the gave Dorothy permission to return home. As she went, she also met friends. They were friends that also each wanted something. The friends were, the lion, the tin man and the scarecrow.

  In the middle of the movie, they meet the ferocious Wizard of Oz that wants the broom from the witch of the West. However, Dorothy gets kidnapped by the witch of the West. Dorothy's friends disguise one of the soldiers and they melts the witch of the West by pouring hot water onto the witch. They achieve the broom form the witch and they return it to the Wizard of the Oz. However, The Wizard of Oz seems to be a human being that tricked Dorothy, however, the Wizard of Oz gave what Dorothy and her friends wanted. The wizard of Oz told Dorothy's friends that they didn't need any real hear or a brain because it was how you got loved and it was the thinking and the reaction they did. So instead of the things that Dorothy's friends wanted, the Wizard of Oz gave the tin man a heart, An award to the scarecrow and a courage medal to the lion. 

  Dorothy said good bye to her friends and she returned home by tapping her magic shoes three times and thinking there is no home. When Dorothy woke up, she noticed that she was dreaming. Dorothy learned an important lesson that she didn't need any home because she just loved her family.

  The lessons that I learned from the movie was that to always believe in yourself and to never give up. I think these are good lessons to learn because if you believe in yourself, you can end up having advantages and benefits. The qualities of leadership I learned from the characters in "The Wizard of Oz" was to always be confident such as Dorothy because she was brave enough to talk to the Wizard. The other great leadership Dorothy had was that she was a great communicator. When the lion had problems with courage, Dorothy didn't tease and what she did was encouraged the lion. 

  

 My opinion about the movie was that it was an educational and a fun movie because it taught many lessons and it had a lot of humor too. But there were also some bad thing that were in the movie. The bad thing about the movie was that since it was 1939, they had some bad graphics and it was hard to hear what they were talking about. Anyway, I enjoyed the movie and that was my movie review about the "Wizard of Oz"
